Hi Scott, I had to let him go, He was way over the measure. I am not sure , but we call them Giant Crab.??

That's a real old looking crab. Probably produce another zillion crabs from him yet.

No Sorry Jay, I have worked on a crab boat and caught a few 12kg + crabs, this was bigger, I would guess 14 to 16 kg

I took a photo of similar crab when on holidays in melbourne, it was in a restaurant live in a tank. At $115 per 1/2kilo I left it to live another day.

Nope, they were School shark, but they taste exactly the same as Gummy.
