Went out looking for Spaniards this morning with Pauly and Pedro. ;D Great conditions crossing the bar with not much swell and light winds. Headed out and caught some liveys and threw them out and started getting slammed straight away. We pulled smaller Spaniards earlier in the morning. When the sun came up more the bigger ones came out to play. We bagged out before 8:30am, and because it was early we kept fishing, catching more and throwing them back... :)

Stand up barrels this arvo would make our day - after catching a haul of Spaniards! ;)

Thats right no barrels today its flat - thats why we went fishing! We caught them in approx 30m.


dont think youll be gettin the barrells but u certainly got a hot bite.
what depth you fishing?

Good job boys, I'd be jealous if I didn't have a fridge full of spotties!;D

I started heading out to the 30metre area this morning but thought I better turn around............no epirb in a 4mt boat isn't a good thing out there.

Well done Benny. I am shedding tears. Nofrills and I headed out near the cape today, tub of livies, barometer and seas spot on. Schoolies only! Spaniards last week so hopes were high. Aghh better than work though.
