headed up the cape this morning with a mate i havent fished with for a while. first stop we fished in close to the cape with placcies just on daybreak both of us got dusted pretty quick on what i think may have been big spangles. then things went quite so plan b was to troll for some spaniards although trolling was quite unconfortable with a solid 15 knt northerly blowing about 20 mins in we hooked up and the deckie was on strike first as he had not fished for a while 5 mins later he had a spaniard of about 8kg. we trolled for another 2 or so hours without another touch so we headed home with just the one fish on ice. had a blast anyways I just need to find out how to get those spangles out of the reef in a hurry;D

Cheers Lochie

Nice Lochie. Good to see your out having a fish. We scored a couple of them last week about the same size and managed to get one of the spangles up.
