Saw it, watched it, targeted it, got it, let it go...

Saw it free swimming on its own. fed it a piece of yakka on a 4/0 circle hook on a 2 metre leader with a running 6 ball sinker under a large float.

it took the first bait that i put under its nose, and I watched it swim in and take it. The float bobbed, and it was on - love the circle hooks

Good Remora mate, those suction pads are extremely hard to get your fingers off. I caught one of around 30cm not long ago at Mud Isl.

Pretty sure they are a cobia's closest relative. You can see it when they get big like that.
