Hi All,
A mate has the daunting task of deciding between the abovementioned trinkets.
We are after all pro's and con's for both boats.
Personally i would go the sailfish based on independant reviews.
Bring it on!
Cheers

The Patriot will ride nicely and they have lots of storage. The deck may not be as big as the sailfish. Can't coment on the Sailfish - is it an aluminium cat?

The sailfish is an aluminium cat and a sight to see in the largest variety.
Thanks for the input.
A big ask but there was a boat launched from Mooloolaba called Brothers Grin. It was 610 - 640 Quinnie Offshore. I know he upgraded to a Haines Patriot with dual Hondas and was talking of getting a Sailfish.
Anyone konw where Anthony is?
Cheers
Mark
Can he drive a boat? Patriot will reward every time and not try to trip itself.

The 680 setup as a twin rig is actually a 7M boat they add 20cm to the transom for the twin setup.
I have a comercial client who did have a 680 and twin 150 Honda's (now has a 760 Patriot) He was very happy with his. He only upgraded so he could take another passenger.
Perko on here had a sailfish with twin Honda's on it.

i own the above patrriot rig and wanted to use it from mackay south i would suggest the sailfish . the patriot is a very good riding boat but does this with some loss of room ,tapers in a long way back , the walk around is to narrow so you would probably better off with a full size cabin but have the hatch step up closer to the winch. the side pouches aint even big enough to hold a dolpin torch. just little desgin things that could so easily be done to make it a great boat

Just wondering why your look at a glass mono and a plate cat?

Same. I don't know about the cats, but if you're looking at the 680, I can't see why you wouldn't look at the Cruisecraft 685. I did, and bought the Cruisecraft.
