Blue fin tuna

Give the blue fin and albacore a bit of a nudge on the weekend caught five albies to 12kg and two blue fin to 28kg on one trip drop lined to five hundred and eighty metres for blue eye and ghost cod to 5kg and the next trip out we got five blue fin to 28kg. plenty of tuna out there at the moment between twenty and thirty five kg with the odd big one amongst them. Caught a couple on 15kg that was a buzz.

A couple of hundred kilo's of fish in 2 trips!! Well done there mate. I reckon you will be right for a feed for a while. Do you use electric reels in that sort of depth? If not you must have forearms like Popeye!!! Would love to see some piccies as well. A mate of mine just drove down there for a VW race meet. Thanks for the report...
