howdy crew
couple pics from yesty, they all fell to freshly caught bait while other fisho's watched & wondered from nearby. using 2 x 7/0 or 8/0 gamakatsu circles on 1.5m 60lb leader with running sinker. all fish hooked by applying slow pressure & not striking. those who striked didn't hook up

Ole Red don't look to happy in the first pic. The circles are a different kettle of fish (no pun) to regular hooks. I'm hooked (pun intended) on them.

You get some good Reds down there that's for sure.

well done guys, can only dream about fish like that. will have to venture down to arno bay next time i am in south oz visiting family. when is the best time of year down there Ash??? cheers lee

December 1st to end of October??
we can get them all year round.
dec/jan is peak for pure bulk of numbers of fish.
april-june big fish months usually but in saying that 30lb'ers can come anytime

Been waiting to see your next report, always worth the wait !!!

Not long now, myself and the crew are itching to get down there, A tick over 4 weeks and it's game on at Arno !!!
Snapper Fishing washed down with plenty of cold Coopers, Lots of Squid and oysters, a night at the AFL, Winery tour, day at the races, international rugby 7's....................The trip to SA will be long remembered !!

My dream for shure as all i chase is reds up in brisbane bay and still no big knobby for me yet but you get em down there to. I thought we were the only ones to get the big knobs. I have been annoying my wife for years and we will be there very soon.
