Must have been one lucky spaniard to take the tail of that tailor and miss those hooks. Good to meet you yesterday.

thanks fellas
the ozcraft is great in the open ocean, but am getting a bigger one built and the ozcraft is being sold, so making the most of it before i go without a boat for a few weeks
tailor was only one type of bait, but worked well on the day
scott will sure do it again in the next few weeks just waiting for the right conditions to get some more good results
cheers justin

Nice Justin. The fish seem to be getting a better size up there now. Hopefully the size will flow down this way. Were they all caught on dead bait like the Tailor?
Cheers Scott

scott yeah have noticed that the majority of the fish caught are around the 6kg marks, my first 2 strikes saw 2 tailor gone took all the hooks and the 300mm of wire, hungry buggers, were all on dead baits variety was good but by far tailor was first to go, used other methods other baits were bonnies and gar couldnt get livies once again, but ill be back next weekend to hit it again,
cheers justin

Another 5 in the bag Justin....
If you'd have been keeping a diary of your spotty and spainish catches this summer, it must be quite a haul....You're doing well, keep it up
