hi all.
not sure if I'm going to upgrade or downgrade yet but here goes.........
6 meter monark built in Sydney in the eighties....
all the usual gear offshore fishing.........
pass any test . mechanical/ structural
new transom, paint and trailer two years ago.
i would like to get a few opinions of you all on what sort of dollars it would be worth.
engine is a 485 mercruiser with all the upgrades done...seperate alternator
4 inch heat exchanger..also heat exchanger for engine oil and power steering
electronic ignition and so on.
here is some pics as you can see i,m up for a nother prop as of today.........

I think and forgive me if I am way out. But I think this boat would be worth around $20k.

captin seaweed's a bit off the mark. i think its worth $1.50 plus gst but since im in a giving mood i'll give $2.00 but no gst. lol
na captin seaweed would be prety close i think i would guess mid to high teens. but if you want to upgrade i'll give you $20k as a trade in on mine, subject to checks ect

hi goldfish.
thanks for the reply.
your boat looks the goods for sure but have always been toying with the idea
of building a big plate boat with inboard diesel and lots of creacher comforts for
longer trips. keel cooler and externally cooled exhaust, never beleved in exhaust
fumes geting pumped in to the water. ( out of sight out of mind )
anyway, all good........... cheers.8-)

No way would i try and guess this first, that hull looks serious, the condition looks very good, I will say another 10k above the blokes but truthfully I doubt many would have a clue, at least i don't, do you know what classic hull that boat is copied/adapted from?? there is the possibility an extra 5k right there if the buyer knows it too.
People spend 50+k on boats not the half of that one IMO.
cheers fnq

Just a guess fellas. Probably worth heaps more ......to the right buyer. Maybe try a local boat shop and see what they say.
