Righto then...
It looks as though I have to make some Fingamajigs up for the boaties market which will in turn support the "World's Greatest Shave" so my question is what sizes of jigheads (hook wise and weight wise) should I make heaps of to suit the Bayside people??
It seems that 5/0 hook size in weights from 1/4 to 3/4 are popular but what would I know?? I use prawns ::)
No point in getting in 500 2/0's if people want the 5/0's if you know what I mean.
I'll make a variety of the all of the sizes and styles just in case as well.

And also what sort of prices should they be sold for to ensure sales?? As I don't want to make them and then have them sitting around for yonks either.

I can do from 1/8 to 1 oz in the heavy gauge hooks and 1/16th, 1/8th and 1/4 oz in the fine gauge.
Thanks Scott :)

G'day Scott

My favourite is the 3/0 1/8 built on a heavy wire gamagatsu.

I use this for the snapper and flathead and anything else..... If they cannot get hooked on that then they're too small:P

Just an idea

Scott,

If you have 7/0 or 8/0 in anything around a 3/4 & 1 oz I'll be there to buy a few !
On a heavy gauge Sharp Gamagutsu or similar and less than $2 each I would buy a few more !!

Cheers
Craigie.

Ta guys.
I've made some on the Owners XXXX strong hooks and they look good but the Gama's price themselves out of the market. It's cheaper to buy the jigheads already made.
Dave, I think I have some of the XXXX Owner 3/0's in the 1/8 made up. I'd like your opinion of them.
Even the Owners are expensive to make up. In the 3/0's hooks cost well over a buck each.
Craigie...I have some 7/0's in the Bulletnose but only in 2oz. I'll see what I can do about the 1 and 1.5 oz and also the 8/0's.
Do you like them balanced or front or back heavy??
The vaste majority will be made on the Eagle Claw extra strong/extra long O'Shanghnessy with sea guard hooks.

do some 5/0's with heavy heads and 2/0's with the lighter heads , that should cover the bay and the estuaries .

cheers nico

Scott, would you be able to maybe let us know where you're getting your hooks and wt what price, as someone may know of somewhere cheaper?

I have a place in mind all ready
