One more question, bass fishing comps?

Are there any bass comps around the goldy area where you can fish boat or kayak, really would like to try out and see what a competition is like?

Hey Geoff,
There is a bass electric comp on at Clarrie Hall on sunday. They have one at hinze later in the year too. Check out the abt site for dates etc. They are also having a yak abt this year but i think it's a bream one? Will check the mag at home tonight

There won't be a bass electric at Hinze this year due to the construction workk and lack of access. Or so I have been advised.

Although not a bass comp, there are 2 kayak only bream comps being held on the 22 feb. One on the sunny coast run by ABT/Hobie with live weigh ins etc and the other on the gold coast.

It should not take long for this style of competition to filter into the bass comps either I would say, as the previous round of the ABT/Hobie kayak comp seemed to be very popular.

There was a kayak only comp back in September on Wivenhoe but this seems to have been the only one so far.

The Hinze dam club has a monthly fishing comp for there club champ etc, give shane bird club president a call if your interested in joining the club and fishing there comps. Ph No 0410558006
