Peter Faust Dam

Wondering how the dam is fishing at present. A mate of mine tells me there is heaps of water in there, and the fish can be harder to find. Anyone been there recently?

Would imagine the fishing is still good, though I have not been for a while. The dam is at 56%, risen 2% in the past week.

When i was there for new years the reports were grim. Aparently more rain will bring it up to speed.

Hey I fished the dam about a week ago. I called in to see both the local tackle stores and they both said the dam was shut down (very quiet) and they were correct. They wind up there has been a problem lately. We were there for two weeks and I did not hear of a barra caught in that time. The water was 25 degrees which in my experience is certainly not helpful. There is a lot of water in the dam and they have been getting a lot of rain since I was there.
