I'm getting 1.4 to 1.6 km's per litre out of my 2 yami f60 4 strokes on the kevlacat so each motor is getting 2.8 to 3.2 km's per litre and there working hard!!!!! eg running between 4500 and 4800 rpm

I no expert but that sounds normal to me - I have 50hp yammie. Alot depends on how much your working your boat in what sea, what revs you do etc etc etc etc. Just my thoughts. Cheers, Darren

Do you NEED the permatrim? I put one on my 15' half cab and it dropped 5km of top end speed. Raising the outboard (Merc 60 EFI 4 stroke) a hole made no difference so I took it off again. I haven't done the figures yet, but I am expecting around 4-5 km/litre.

My old 90 smelly 2 stroke merc. on an old glass cuddy gets way better then that.
But I don't don't push her at all.
I'd be looking for reasons.
Why do you need a permatrim?
What's your taco say at WOT??

My old man has a 475 Sea Jay C/C with a 60 yammy 4 stk (stainless prop) he gets between 2.75 - 3 km/ltr running between 4300 and 4800. 2km/ltr sounds a bit thirsty to me.
