Theres 2 main ones in Geelong, with another 5 or 6+ down around the coast between here and Barwon Heads. Just depends on boat size/weather for some mate.

Torquay "ramp" (more of an approach to the sand you have to launch from) costs $4 or $6. Queenscliff ramp is free but the carpark costs $10 per day. Worth it though, it's a great ramp. Barwon head ramp is free, and is pretty good.

how do they enforce payment?
say you head out at 3am - how are the ramps secured to stop you launching?

There nothing stopping you launch but

Just like carparks you need to purchase a ticket and display it on your dash

Officers are on the go all the time.>:(

Some ramps you need to purchase a token to operate the boom gates

to let you enter the carpark with your trailer!!

Some are still free but not many of these left:(

OK so that was a useless reply, try using Google earth, you dont have to be Bill Gates to use it, if I can you can, pick which area you want to go boating then ask for a little more specific detail, like I said earlier, in Vic there is a lot of ramps.
