Thinking of hitting the dam for a fish one afternoon and after doing a search I see there haven't been many reports over the last 6 weeks and wonder if this is that it has been shut down?

I'll probably go even if it's a bit slow and 1 or 2 fish would make me happy. But if the chances are more likely I'll get a donut I might save the petrol.

Thanks for any info, Josh

Hey Mate,

Haven't fished there recently mself, however from what I have been told it is very difficult to fish there LB atm. Since the dam levels have increased, Getting a cast or pulling a fish through the now submerged long grass is a big problem.

Go an hour before sunrise or at sunset/early evening and use surface lures.

hey mate the fish are there but benny said getting them in is the hard part. popper an swallow divers over the submergd grass works great but getting the fish out of the grass after the strike is not so easy a locked drag an a few pumps of the handle is the way to go.

good luck
