View Full Version : fixing a rod tip

Hi all

this may have been posted before. Anyway i have an old snyderglas rod. an Mt7144. It has a broken tip guide which i need to get off and replace. the resin is rather old and chipped off, Its just the glue under it which is a problem. How would i go about removing it?

Gday Owen a bit of a warm up with a lighter and it should pull straight off. Wave the lighter under it,,don't need to burn the crap out of it. Only use 5min arlydite to glue on a new one so you can repeat the process if need be.
