I am heading out to my first trip to the banks. I havnt fished this area before. Is anyone willing to share a start mark or two.

Have a look at the Hervey Bay site "fishntales", it has quite a large gps data base for the whole of SE QLD.

Hello Chimo,
I am running 17's by Solas. I still have the old ones but find the new ones a lot better. Old props cavitate too much under hole shot load and dont bite in. I was also not getting the correct top end revs the motors were labouring. I havnt put tabs on it yet, that is my next project.

Hey mate good luck with the trip to the banks. Dont be suprised if you struggle to catch a feed out there, its very quiet out there at the moment my last 3 trips have been very ordinary. But you never know things are changing all the time just like the weather. Good luck, Deano. Pm sent.
