Hi all im thinking of laying some chevrons on some of my older rods as practice.
This was my first full wrap after experiments with a few different styles and colours (not sure about the blue though)
mind you it was just a quick test and wasnt marked out so its abit wonky
What do ya recon anyway?
What i was wondering was what is the closest grudebrod npc to that green ?
its just some sewing cotton that i found to prac with its like a bright green.
thanks

Mate,
Contact Tony Davis at fishfinderpl@bigond.com.au. Tony has just commenced a deal with the importers of Mettler and Madeira polyester threads. If you haven't used either of these threads before then you just don't know what your missing out on. Spools come in 200m and 800m sizes and are far cheaper than a spool of gudebrod. They do a fantastic job and the colour range just can't be bettered. If you can't match the thread colours with these two ranges, it just can't be done. The only thing is, they don't have a range of NCP threads. I've been using both threads for years now and I am super happy with them.
Regards
Mark

Sorry, that was my horrible tying at work again. The address is right if you include the bigpond "p". Tony is a top bloke and loves talking rodbuilding.
