Marlin & Spaniards out of Noosa

just a few pics of the last few days,

spaniards were caught off noosa, and marlin was caught on arvo session out of my tinny off Double Is Pt we beach launched at rainbow and hooked up with in 20 mins off the headland, were trolling with 7inch alveys and big dead baits,landed but was tail wrapped in fight and died, nice bycatch, were after spaniards.

Well done mate went out for a burn today off D.I. and did it very tough on the bottom fishing. Brilliant shows and no co-operation. Just goes to show how the norhterlies shut down reefies. Had a troll along the 25mt line with a couple of slugs and hooked a good spottie which spat the hooks at the boat. Plenty of bait along that line and spotties busting up everywhere.

Nice one Justin,

We had a go yesterday and trolled for about 3 hours for another marlin
but we didnt even get a strike.

Tough going out there the last few days.

yeah is shaping up great better than last,

can now add another 7 spaniards to the list caught thismorning lost another 5 to bite offs. still no spotties.

yeah the next few days are goin to be chasing jacks up the river and maybe some trevelly got a southerly blowing in for a few days
