Outboard Mechanic Townsville

Was wondering what peoples' experiences were with getting their outboard serviced in Townsville. Purchased a 2nd hand 200hp Saltwater series from Ayr at the begining of the year, and now due for a service. Was very happy with the service from Coral Coast marine in ayr, and am more than happy to tow the boat back down there for a service. it would just be nice to have a mechanic a little closer to town? Good and bad reports?

Ron is usually pretty good with his info.

Alos there is Scott at NQ Outboard Wreckers in the Bohle Industrial area.

He used to do all the work on my old rig...

I use J & B Marine from Ingham. They come to Townsville on a Wednesday and are heaps cheaper than the local Merc dealer.
