Batteries for new boat-help

Got a stacer nomad 469 with a 6ohp merc. Can go with 2 batteries or just one, but am looking at $300 odd for a 500 amp marine battery. Is there any cheaper way through this?

mate try your local Delco dealer, i bought 2- 530cca fully sealed marine batts for $140 each and i've flogged them and are still going. Great batts. Good luck

120 to $140 should see you right go to battery pro or some where like that.
