hi hows it goin all
Ive never built a rod before but its somn ive always wanted to take for a burn.
ive got a few pretty standard rods an was lookn to start gettn some better gear together.Iwas gonna build a new bream rod but i got a pretty decent bit of kit of the missus for xmas:D .
so i was lookn at a snapper spinner type setup for chasn jewys or maccas an the likes.
maybe even a bit of of the beach paddeling.
i dont do to much soft plastic work but i do a fair bit of lure flickn if that helps
problem starts here i live in sale an no-one around here sells blanks an i have no idea what im doing:(
i have done a fair bit of reasearch an have a fair grasp at whats goin on i spose
i was lookn at the 7ft 2piece premium samurai 502 or the 402
i like the 7footers
it will be usec for both bank and boat
but im not sure on what type of guides or seat to get?
id llike to pair it up with a halph decent offshore spinner of some description
has anyone got a good recipie fo a rod of this description?
or even just point me in a good starting direction
any help much appreciated
thanks

mate i would look at getting one of the of the rod kits from mo tackle takes alot of the guesse work out of your first rod.
If you dont go that way then will you be using braid or mono? as this plays a big part in the quality of guides you would select i believe
