HI to all,
New member, but must admit ive been a reader for a while.
Any hoo, I've taken the plunge and am starting my first boat project.
It will be my design, a 5.3 m plate alloy tinny, tiller steer.
Downunder Boats will be building it for me.
Anything can be done, as long as i make the changes before we start the build, to make build job easier.(custom builders hate late changes) Anyone had a great heavy duty tinny and had a brilliant idea or mod that you think i should incorp.
It will have self draining deck,underfloor fuel, underfloor anchor well next to driver position, and underfloor kill tank / esky.
The idea is to build it so I can add a cab or console later if i want.
Once build starts(feb/mar) I'll post pics.
Look forward to some great ideas
