Hi All,
I am considering selling my boat as I don't use it as much as I would like, and I'm after some opinions on what it may be worth.
Allycraft 410 Rhino, Bimmi top, LED Navigation Lights, Anchor lights, carpeted floor and Padded seats, Lowrance X52 Depth Sounder and GME 27 meg Radio with Aerial.
Yamaha 25HP 4 stroke with electric start and power trim and tilt. Fully Service June 08. Approx 25-30 hrs.
Redco Sportsman Trailer, with bearing buddies and winch strap.
All Purchased new June 2007. Warranty until June 2009.
Thanks
Scott
Sounds like a good set up some pics would help.
The biggest problem with selling something so new is that not a lot of people are willing to pay close to what you paid for it because it is second hand. Also with the uncertain economic situation this may also hinder the ease of sale. On the other hand someone may be down sizing and this may be perfect. At the end of the day work out what you want for it and stick five hundred on top of that. It all depends on how quick you want to sell it.

Does the 25 hp 4 stroke get it up on the plane and travelling OK. I am no expert in this area but thought it might be a bit light on for say 2 or 3 guys and gear.
I have been looking recently at buying such a rig new at around $7.5 - 8 K without the extra you mentioned but with a 30 hp motor (2 stroke).
Would be interested at your comment on your motor size (25hp) Scott.
Thanks and cheers

Hi mate,
I was on the water this morning at Redland Bay (Brisbane) with 3 people (the 1st time) normally carry 2, and was surprised at how well it performed.
I specifically opted for the 4 stroke with the electrics, because I have cerebral palsy, but still like to be independant as much as I can, and couldn't really see the need to have a 40hp 2 stroke with the same features.
This bmt package cost $10250 new.

A bit like me I have Ankolysing Spondilitis and have limitations as well. I am actually looking at the electric start and tilt system for the rig I'm looking at given my lets just say diminished flexibility.
I would expect smaller hp 30 odd would come with electric start/tilt set up but as I said I dont know and keep looking.
Thanks for the feed back and once you have settled on a price PM me and who knows what might eventuate.
Cheers
