hey guys,

i managed to pickup a great set of seats through the week,

they are the fold down type with a swivel on the base already,
what is the best way for me to mount these...?

I have an explorer 385 and was thinking of putting them side by side on the rear casting deck (which is built on the bench seat).

do i just bolt the swivel straight on...? if so how do i do it as they are going through the casting deck into the bench seats and foam....
or do i need another part or something...

i really have no idea on this any info or pics would be much appreciated,

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Ben,
Over the years I have fitted my seats to the tinny in this way.
I use alum sail track which allows the swivel to slide along but does not move about very much. The track fits both sides of the base and if you make the track about .350 long you will be able to slide the seat across to ballance the boat when needed. The sail track is Pop rivetted to the seat [3/16 size s/s]
I hope this helps .
