I've narrowed my choice down to these 2 yaks and would appreciate some extra opinions. (I decided the elite over the Prowler 13 already)

Prowler elite 4.5:
Length - 4.5m
Width - 0.71m
Capacity - 230 kg
Weight - 30.4 kg

Hobie Quest:
Length - 3.96m
Width - 0.72m
Capacity - 159 kg
Weight - 25.85 kg

My activities will be:
- Offshore including spearfishing (extra gear)
- Estuary trolling, SP's etc
- Just paddling as a workout

What do you think? Does the extra capacity of the elite mean a lot? And can either yak carry 2 people well for a short distance (occasionally)?
Don't wory about price.
Cheers.

Longer lenght for easier paddling and better load carrying would make the Prowler Elite my choice.

I think I've now made my mind up to get the Prowler elite. The guy at the kayak store was just so keen on the quest - he threw me off my plan for a sec!
Extra capacity is a big factor, and I've never heard a bad word said about the elite.
Thanks guys.
