Hi all,

I bought this (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=150312718259) a few days ago and finally got to use it today. What I didn't realise upon picking it up as it was dark, was that the handles had thinned out and after one use they're all about to break.. BUGGER!

Does anyone have any ideas on who I might contact to have the handles repaired? It's a great tube otherwise and I'd rather not write it off an ANOTHER bad experience purchasing via ebay.

Cheers :)

Matt.

G'day

My bet would be try the local inflatable boat specialist/repairer and see what they recommend

Thanks lads.. Worst case I spent $143 for a bridle, rope, quick release, two life jackets and 1/2 day of fun. I can always buy another, I suppose.

I think what has happened is that the previous owner has left it out in the sun for some time, which has caused the straps to weaken without any visible signs. The when I have used it it's torn quite quickly.

Heh, just stumbled onto this old thread... Ended up buying a new tube (body glove 3 person). The new tube is so much more lively in the water... Chalked it down to experience.
