Have just been up there from 9-11 to 20-11 camped at Kinchant great camping spot right on the water......... Amenities not that crash hot,,, women wern't very happy with them.....:'(

Caught 16 Barra the best going 1016..... 98.... 85... the rest between 500 & 700 all but 3 fish caught at night as late as 2.30am....::) & could not sleep in because of the bird life......

Daylight hours we were kept busy with the Sootie's never caught them before:P boy do they hit my PB out of approx 380 fish was 44cm & i thought i had a Barra on......

Tried Teemburra twice but i think NAAG scared them all (thats my excuse anyway).....had 1 good size fish roll under the lure>:(

Tried the Banjo lures to no avail,,, Most Barra were caught on Barra classic's trolled,,, in red & black colour's & the Sootie's would take anything

had a nice taste of Redclaw before we left,,,,,:P in garlic butter

Sounds like you had a mostly enjoyable time. Pity the barra weren't playin ball.

Thinkin of goin to kinchant next Thurs night (11th), & gonna fish Teemburra sat/sun(13 & 14th). I'll let you know how I go.

I'm in a 385 Edgetracker Tournament with a 30 Honda if anyone down that way. Come say hello. It would be good to put some faces to names.

Spent a very pleasant 2 hours, on Monday 24th Nov (8am-10 am)casting in the weeds for 9 barra to 70 cm and 7 hook ups. All caught on gold B52s small version. Tried the SPs but only 1 touch.
Went there again last Monday, for 4 barra and 6 hook ups. Again, tried the SPs (hollow bellies and horny toads )for zilch. tied on the B52 and had fun.
As it is only an hour's drive, might be there again next Monday morning. A bit difficult as the 'deckie' doesn't fish, therefore it has to be a morning session only....Bugga!!:-/
