Cast Net

I am chasing a cast net that would be suitable for someone to learn with? I have never used one & am keen to learn so i can catch some live baits & hopefully a Jack or 2!!

Mate hit ya local tackle shop for a cheapy. Mostly around the 40-50 buck mark. I have had many and have settled on monofilament. 8ft is a good size as its not too small and it spreads large enough but not to wear your armsout too fast.

Kmart has them all different sizes pretty cheap sometimes you can get 20% off all fishing gear

i started using a cast net at bout 13. i just got a 6' cheapie bout $20. didnt were me out like dads did, wach the vids on utube etc to learn. i went to a tackle sho were some1 showed me a slightly better way. never looked back. love my net. even tho its small i still use it but wen it goes i will upgraded to a 8' draw string.
