Hey all in ausfish land,
Lookin at up grading my Yamaha 50hp four stroke to something in the 60hp range, now it will be pushing a 4.5 mtr blue fin plate boat. The 50 pushes it along very well but i like to keep my motors reasonably new. I have fallen in love with the four stroke in all aspects, noise, fuel and reliability. So with that in mind i would say i will be heading into a four stroke again, but with all the fisho's on this site i thought i would get everybodies input on brand etc. We don't mind having a troll every now and then and prefer the four stroke as one of the reasons. If people would be so kind and give me any info that they might find helpful that would be great.

Yeah i agree with SK, I have a 4.5 warrior with the 60hp 4strk yammie it's a good matchup.

thanks guys i must say the yammie has been extremely reliable, And over the years i have never had a break down or a issue with her, but just with everything out there now thought it would be worth asking the question.

In this range yammie have got it shot to pieces with there 60 as it as alarge weight advantage and if you have had a good run you should not be temped by other motor brand hype. Good luck and let us know how you end up.

Yep, in the 60hp 4 stroke range the Yammie is on top of the pile.
