Gloom and Doom is not all bad, I got a new boat

I guess you have to pick your time to buy a boat, at times you cant get a bargain at other times you can. On the weekend I (think) I got myself a good boat at a good price. I bought a Stabicraft 589. I have been looking for a few months now, and until the aussie dollar hit the skids, I was thinking of importing one for NZ. But, instead I was able to procure a 2 year old boat still with 1 year warranty and 1 year on an evinrude 115. Today was the first time I took it out, I am very happy and glad to be part of the boating community.

As Im a novice, pleae dont punch me out on the boat ramp, I find it difficult!:D

Some great s/hand bargains around ATM.

Also some absolute steals on new rigs in some of the yards over here in WA. Guess that will end when the new stock comes through that has been purchased with the weak AU$.
