Shorty .... Good on ya
Hope you do well
Lures ...... everyone has their favorites
My suggestion is monitor this freshwater chat area
& call into foxies barra Havoc at Gin Gin ....... support the local & get the up to date low down.
Mate ..... as there is so much that can work ..... on the day ...... its so hard to answer honestly - 4 weeks out ........ looking at my tackle box - Its so different from what I would have taken back in March

If you don't mind crowds, join the trolling circuit in the main basin.
And, if you are going to do that, including in the day time, match the speed and path of those who most often have the bent rods (there always seem to be one or two).
Don't be afraid to troll anywhere between dead slow on an electric and quite fast idle on the petrol, and have a lure that will run at 1m, 2m etc, that suits the depth you are travelling over.
And, I agree wholeheartedly with a chat with Foxie or the kiosk.
Night time trolling on the dark of the moon (is that right for your schedule? Have a look here, and at Foxie's site)
As a cabin dweller over the last few years, I can assure you that the night is rent assunder at regular intervals by camera flashes and YAHOOS in the main basin, including underneath the cabins and across to the other side
As for casting in late Nov, never done it, but it is sure to work.
