Sad bit is that some clowns in a few of the gin palaces actually do similar sorts of maneuvers (stupidity) down the Pin way.
I've vowed never to go down there on public holidays after only 1 outing on a public holiday.
I thought I was going to go turtle in the washing machine. :(

Be a long list of Officers heading to that enquiry and not a one would come out unscathed.

The boats are apparently German Navy. Here is an explanation of the incident that I found;
"Basically S-Boats Frettchen and Gepard were being relived off Lebanon and were to do a formal simultanous goodbye crossing the wake of Frigate Brandenburg (hence the music).
Obviously, Gepard didnt get the "turn" signal and stayed put.
The 143 and 143A classes are wood on steel frame, as all german Lürssen build S-Boats except for the 148, which were French designed with steel hulls.
Men of steel in boats of wood...
The squadron commander was relieved two days ago, but it was not clear if that is a result of that collision."

Here is a longer version of the video, the 2nd part is filmed on the ship doing the turn and colliding;
