Well it's a toss up?
Borumba is closer and apparently people have actually been catching fish there :D(admittedly not many Barra). :(
Reports indicate Monduran is very quite now and I hope to be up there in a couple of weeks.
+ Mum and Dad are touring in their caravan and will at Imbil this weekend.
The weather is looking much better than the forecast when I posted this.
Its a big decision! :-/

Well I'll tell ya.
Went to Borumba Thursday night. (Caught up with Mum & Dad :))
Fished Friday nothing to report but beautiful weather and ideal conditions. Pegged a bloody Jackall Masked Vibe over one tree wrapped around the next. I could see it up high, I negotiated the boat underneath. (How good are lectrics when they are workin ;D) Got the strike back assembled, hooked up and snap the jackall fell beautiful, missed the boat by about a cm! plop gone.
Bass fishin is cursed!. >:(
Again Saturday, morning beutiful conditions over cast but no fish :( not many good reports but 'FassBasstard' was cruisin the sticks and said he had caught a few. On a bloody Jacakals of course, what else? So I was on the right stuff just not my turn.
Packed up home by 3.30, boat in the shed just as it started raining. :)
Calliope don't panic I didn't take the port, as a matter of fact I have topped up the kegs and should have a nice sample for the Mondy reunion ::).

Bloody lucky some prick stole your Bassin Qld vest at Mondy. It would of burst into spontaneously combustion with all of the good luck you have been having.
My port brewing mate is coming up this time. It will be good to compare brews.

Borumba!!!!! What a beautiful Dam!!! After a week at monduran for 1 boated, 1002mm a PB, 1 dropped and a follow, to actually catch fish!!!! We ,6 of us from BSFC in lovely down town Sydney, spent spent the second week catching Sarra, bass silvers and yellows. The lure of choice was a gold kackle! Yes the $5 lure killed them, except for the Sarra which I used a small bud paddle tail. 5 Sarra in one session sweeeeeeet! Great place, will come back.

Mentioning leccys ........ I had to send my Minn Kota back on my return from the Muster - - The thing was vibrating & screaming when the throttle hit 5-6........... It came back on Thursday ......... They had to replace the bearing that goes on the armature:( But at least it is fixed now ........ hopefully all will be well during November
