Boats lost on Tweed Bar and Pin Bar

I heard that there was a report of a boat that went over on the Tweed bar on the weekend and also one on the Pin bar can anyone tell us any information about it?

Boat on the Tweed went over about 3 am. Two blokes in the water after there motor failed on the bar. Run out tide at night. I was there about 4am, the Chopper was searching at first light

Was down the pin last weekend with the kids and had a quick look at the bar, looks ok on the incoming tide, looks like the channel goes straight out from the top of South Straddie
