how much persplex are you after. 300mm square.. i may have some floating around at the shop you can have.

persplex isn't cheap and you would want atleast 5 - 8mm thickness.

let me know, but i'll have a look tomorrow for you

Swampman62,

Try a window/glass place. I bought a piece about 400mm square a couple of years ago for about $30 from memory.

Swampman,
when you work out what size & thickness is required, post it up, some of us may have offcuts laying around that may suit..

You can cut perspex down with a circular saw and a good blade, although a table saw will work better.

I have done a bit of perspex work. It machines a little like wood, but you have to use sharp, quality cutting blades and the right tools.

Hey,

Scotty is thinking of Marlin Plastics right next door to Harbourtown on Brisbane Rd.

I have used them before. For simple supply perspex they are great and priced really well. When you ask them to put the screen together with framing ect the price jumps very quickly.

Regards

Darren
