Well, brother in law went out with a mate up north and fished his mates spot who had been fishing it for years and had just cracked the metre + club,, well Sean he cracked it first trip and pulled out an absolute monster 1.25, they didnt weigh it as too concerned releasing but took a while for it to be released, she swam off.

they are out there, they also caught some over the magic 100cm mark..and did a bit of pig shooting, but this old girl,, well these are some of the photos emailed too me, not an easy to get to spot.

awesome!!!...CONGRATS Sean :D...what lure did the damage???...that 2nd pic is a doozey...imagine being a mullet and that being the last thing you see in your life...the pig shooting...did they rifle and dog it or do some compound bow work???

Dont know bait or lure, will ask, here is another pic and one of a smaller one on the same trip, might have to twist a few arms and get there

Congratulations to them, really nice fish.

Lure it looks like, (with the number of boxes of lures besides the esky).

Gulf or coastal location?

The big girl look in great condition would have put on a good fight.

Thats a great looking fish!!. I took note of how small the bucket looked and the landing net,done well to boat it.
