Boat friendly accomodation in Townsville

Any tips. Need somewhere to park my boat when I am up there 15th November. Dont really want to leave it on the street out the front of a hotel/unit. Was hoping to find a decent caravan park with nice cabins on the water, but a house might suffice. Only problem is we may only be staying a few nights and intend on moving around a fair bit, so only looking for a couple of nights at this stage.

Hey Mate, try the Rowes Bay Caravan park. Cabins which look over the water and room for a boat. Also only 5 mins to the main boat ramp. How big's the boat?

Big Boat? If you are referring to the fact that I was going to buy a big boat plans just changed. I got up enough cash to buy one then changed my mind and decided to chuck it all on the mortgage. Tough decision, but I think I will be better off in the long run. If all goes well the mortgage will be gone in 2 years then I will go buy the bigger boat!
