How to make the best out of my tinny?

Hi all,

Did my share on big boats and spent enough money on them to keep them going with out catching enough fish :)

I now have decided to go back to good old basic tinny and ordered a 400 Hornet trophy with a 40 etec. Boat has sounder canopy and thats all there is but i want to make it a special tinny and just wondering how you guys fitted out your tinnies with bait tank,sounder,seats,rod holders etc.

Any pics would be greatly appreciated...

I'm in a similar situation, having just bought a Bluefin Mangrove Jack 4.2m. I bought a really helpful magazine a few months ago called "Fitting Out for Lake and River Fishing". I spoke to the owner of the magazine today and his website is jeffwebster.com.au. He has lots of interesting ideas that could be helpful for you.

have a search of the archives on ausfish. There is a post 'show me your boat' with hundreds of pictures of different boats. Also a couple on tinny fitout I think. You can always go to a boat ramp on a good day and have a look at boats as they come back in. I reckon most boat owners would be very happy to show someone what they have done if someone shows some interest.

ive made as many modifications as i needed to my tinny.
