"yeah...real quiet here"...LOVE IT!!!...top notch angling there P/M...how long was the fight???...and was that a nuke chook???...we didnt enter this years Hookup...but went to the festivities afterwards and we all had a ball...next year for sure...look out for team Benno :P

Benno1- Mate the fight was about 10-15mins but felt like ages, Yes it was on a nuke chook very very happy to had landed it and thanx to the nitro jighead for hanging in there, Yer the ramp is great now and sames as the pontoon but on a very rapid run in tide the boat tens to get pushed straight into it wich isnt a great deal. Yer we had the boat already in and ventured out with out a hassle.

Yer i was worried u can hear me say " Are u good with that gaff" haha dn i was breathing hard towards the end as i was scared to loose it so close. I was using a brand new Pflueger President 6-10kg rod ( First fish on it) and a 4000 Diawa Tearra with 30lb dineama braid and 60lb leader. Was awsome fight.

just before your big mack is boated...theres a rod thats moved out of the way with a set of hussar wings on it...did anyone boat anything decent on it afterwards???

Good spotting, Thats our secrete for most big fish, All Reds were caught on Wings of some species, mainly hussar as they are dinamite bait. Yeah everybody gets there turn but mine happened to fal over that weekend. Was a awsome weekend and fishing.

Great stuff guys a real team effort, good camera work, good rod work, good gaf shot and good work by the guys clearing the deck. That is what fishing is all about! We do a bit of video when we go out, great to watch when you come home, we will have to pull our finger out and get it put up, don't know if it is up to your high standard though.

Nice vid PM, while the fish was awesome some of the images of you heading out were just a good. I bet you were all a little worried when you saw it was a spanish and you only had mono leader, but I guess it only adds to the fun. What sort of cat was it also? It look like great conditions for fishing.

it is My Grandads boat and is a 2400 Kelacat with DF140 Suzukis. Absolutely love it and i am glad to be part of the team. Yeah when i relised it was a mackeral i was shitting my dacks. I was just stoked to have gotten it in.
