It's time to get the outboard serviced, it is a 2001 Yamaha 70hp 2stroke.
I am looking at getting a complete service and change the impellor and pump, can anyone recommend a good service tech.
I am thinking of Wynnum and Stones Corner at the moment being the closest Yamaha dealers.

Shop around, there are often massive differences in the price of a service. Last time I did, I found Wynnum Marine very competitive. Not only that, they called me about a few things I wasn't aware of. Good stuff to the boys at Wynnum Marine.

Hi,
I have an '07 25 Yamaha which was purchased new and serviced by Wynnum marine. They did a fantastic job and they are a great team of blokes too.
Cheers

ditto for Wynnum marine - serviced my Yammie 115 and all is good. also let me know about steering issues and spoke to me about some trailer issues.
I like being kept informed of the job, what potentially can be an issue and receive some good advice.

Had my previous motor (70 yammy) regularly serviced by Stones Cnr and found them to be reliable careful and fair priced, recommend you give them a call.
