New Fast Boat Launch Technique

Was in the queue of boats lined up to head home after a quiet morning at Deep Water Ramp at about 11 am today. Saw the new fast launch method used.

Guy with his 30K + pride and joy reversed down the ramp and stopped to adjust his line. He must have had his safety chain off his boat and relying on the winch and cable. Winch let go, pride and joy skid down the concrete ramp about 2 metres on its hull till it hit water and eventually floated! Suspect new low drag short o/b leg now in use too.

Quick launch but! Only about 8 boats watching to come in.
Still took about 30 minutes to get on the ramp to head home.

Lol. I cant rely on my winch cause its shagged. The shaft the ratchet is on is bent and wont hold anything. If the safty chain is not on, then my boat would be doing the same trick.
