A 43-year-old man has died from head injuries after falling from a boat being towed by a four-wheel drive at Dawesville, south of Perth.
Police say the man, from Leschenault near Bunbury, was one of two people sitting in the boat when it fell off the trailer while being towed along Recreation Road in Dawesville, just before 6pm (WST) on Saturday.
The boat was being towed by a Landrover car, police said.
"As the driver negotiated the corner ... the boat has tipped off the trailer sending both men onto the carriageway," Inspector Trevor Davis said.
"The 43-year-old man sustained massive head injuries and later died in hospital."
The Major Crash section in Perth will investigate the incident.
