this is my first boat been savin for a while, dads got a quinnie 385 explorer but i wanted somthing a little bigger and a little faster:) i ended up with this 4.45 quintrex with a 50 2 stroke yammy elec start and power trim n tilt.. let us know what yous all think.

Nice looking rig,plenty of fishing room and should get there quickly with a 50 on the back.Does it have any electronics(Sounder etc)?

yes it has nav lights bilge pump and lorance x 52 sounder have to get a marine radio and gps unit for it.

bout 2 weeks ago i bout the same kinda boat...Wit a 40 honda though....just outa curiouslity how fast does urs go with with 50 2strk

i dont actually recieve the boat untill friday, but i got told with 2 blokes in 39 mph, are you happy with the boat?

Mate thats a great rig will cover all the bases nicely. good choice for a first boat.

24fish I've got a 4.6 Quinny with a similar layout and a 50 yammy the same as yours, although the paint jobs no where near as flash.

Top speed is 55km with 2 blokes so I would expect you would be a bit faster given its slightly shorter and its red too!

Isn't it a neat feeling getting a boat; congratulations!!! Now comes the real fun part of setting it up with all the bells & whistles............

BTW, nice colour......it will be easy to find in the yard. ;)
