Ben,
I was up there yesterday. Managed 28 bass for the session (7 hrs).
I struggled to get a surface bite only managed two hits.
I picked up a couple of fish on small jackalls 50's and then another two jerkbaiting Deep Chubby's along the weed edges.
There are a heap of fish suspending at around 10 ft in 20 ft up at the back of the dam and I pulled 14 fish on the fly from this area. As my I haven't fly fished for quite some time my arm started to get tired after a couple of hours so moved down into Bass Bay with the Chubby's and jerkbaited again for the remainder of the fish.

fished there on tuesday, landed about 40 - 50 between the three of us. Got 4 on sub surface fly too which is kewl cause i havent caught many bass on fly and have only ever got them on surface fly previous to that trip. Anyway, we used plastics and jackalls with small sliders catching the most bass. We fished anywhere where the was a weed bed up the back end of the dam. Also the weed on the left as you enter the standing timber was really good too, but you should do well on any lure casting to any of the weed beds up the back end. No need for a sounder if your fishing jackalls and plastics (we had one but didnt use it) the only time we used the sounder was when we found that we where in three meters or less of water and that was purely to let me know i could fly fish as i only had a slow sinking clouser on a floating line.
Cheers, Dave

Yeah it was the real small sliders that did the job, id say they are the smallest ones you can get cause they were about three centimetres long
