Sounds like a good idea and I would be interested, even have room for 1 in my boat.

I didn't even know there was a ramp to the fresh in the Ross. But I should've realised, they do go water skiing in there.

My boat isn't exactly lure flicking friendly, but if any one has a spare seat I'll make myself available.

There's a 15hp (I think thats right) size restriction on motorised craft on the Gleesons and Aplins plus the rowing's seasons in full swing right now so I'd steer clear of Aplins at least. Gleesons is hard to get into with anything bulkier than a canoe so it probably leaves you with Black. I'm keen as I've not done any from a boat in the weirs.

The barra are definitely on the chew there at the moment 'cos I went down to the top of Aplins the other night for a flick and I could hear them boofing just after dark and one +80cm joker jet-propelled itself clear of the water to land like a bloody whale right out in the middle.

If Brians not deckying, I'll have a spare seat...

I fished Blacks thismorning and caught three. Had plenty of strikes, dropped a couple.

And like Mozza said- the rowers are out.

One other cosideration when fishing Blacks is the water skiers. They crank up at 9:00am and go til dusk practically.

LOL oldboot!!

I was a rower and bl00dy oath; of course we did - trouble is it's a little harder deweeding your lure when your dryness depends on your ability to hang to both oars...
