Bowen marine VHF channel ??

Going up to the Bowen fishing classic this year out to the reef now equipped with a VHF radio, over the previous 27meg

What channel is general chat and emergency up there?

Does whitsunday handle the area, or Bowen port?

Mark.. suggest you check with the organisors for comp chat channel - could be 72 or 77. emergency is always VHF channel 16. Check out this link for VMR Bowen:
