If it hits the top of the rev range the 17p should see a little better than 60km/h, fast cruise at 50kph, will suck some juice something like say 35 Litres at cruise for every 45-50km travelled.

cheers fnq

I would imagine that it would be a dog. I've got a 635L Haines and it had a 175 on it previously and it was average. It's now got a 200hp with a 17' 3 blade prop and it goes 58 mph flat.

I've been in a 6m polycraft and it has a 140 with a 4 blade prop, and it is a bit sluggish for me - with top speed of 30 mph.

The 2250L is a big boat, bigger than a 635L and i would think it should have at least a 200 on it - 3 or 4 blade prop isn't going to make up 50 horse power.

My opinion, go for a ride in it, only one way to find out.
