i would like to know what thickness peoples transoms are on their glass boats. I am just at the stage now with my project that if i want to beef up the transom now is by far the easiest way to do it.
At the moment it is only about 25-30mm thick all over with another 15-20mm added to where the engine sits.
Cheers.

Plenty of thickness there. I would pay attention to adding layers of glass to the areas of high stress such as the sides, bottom and stringers

Horse, when you say sides do you mean where the boat sides & transom meet/join? Or do you mean the fore & aft (front & back) sides of the actual transom?

jeff thickness will ultimately be determine by the size of the boat and motor you're putting on it
for my little rig my transom was about 33mm and its got the 50 on it which is about 86 kgs.
no problems yet.
dont forget if you make ur transom thicker then you will have to change the whole back configuration with your splashwell as its moulded to sit on that certain widthhe 445 was designed with an outboard around the size you are putting on and ive seen some with a 115 etc.
i think yours will be fine mate..
something that you could do but ultimately you lose a little room at the back is make up 2 transom braces like i did on mine to give it some reinforcement and stop flex.....
