dunno about a marlin, it looks more like a small shark to me, no bill was seen even though the fish was right on the surface. The idiot behind the camera called it for a 10foot black marlin....not a frickin chance in hell is that thing 10ft long, if it is, I'll eat my computer, For a start, I don't think blacks travel that far south, I used to live down there and never heard of a black being caught down that way, plenty of blues and striped ones though.

you can make out the tail sometimes and that is not a tail of a shark . it does look like a marlin but it is only small one .

looks like some sort of billy dorsal is too far forward for a shark and the tail is too thin.
nice footage

OK I'll retract the shark statement, I've had another couple of looks at it and there are times where I can see the sun reflecting a bluish glow off the dorsal. I will now agree that it is a billfish, but not sure about the marlin part.

But I standby what I said, if that thing is 10ft long I'll eat my computer, graphics card, speakers and any other peripherals....everything.

No, no, I said if it was 10ft long, then I'd eat my computer....even though, I think it would take a lot of boiling to soften it up enough

Good capture on the video mate. Any fool can see it is a good size fish. I don't need to knock you on it's size or weight.

The fish was most definetly a Marlin.

I saw a pic on another website and it is very clearly a Marlin.

Lost.....I think so..;D
